Yes. The highly trained and certified medical practitioners at Ouch Urgent Care are experienced in evaluating lacerations and puncture wounds and providing effective treatment, including disinfection and stitches or bandages. In some cases you may be sent to the emergency room, if the wound needs more extensive treatment. If you or a loved one has sustained a severe wound that may be life- or limb-threatening, it’s best to call 911 or head to the emergency room as quickly as possible.
Our physician-led team includes certified physician assistants and nurse practitioners who collaborate to provide a full spectrum of urgent care services to patients of all ages from newborn on.
Ouch Urgent Care is proud to help make the urgent care process as accessible as possible by accepting most major health insurance plans, including Medicare. To ensure that you get the most up to date answer, it is best to contact your health insurance provider. Not only will they be able to tell you if the clinic is in network, but they will also be able to disclose whether the visit can be covered or not.
Although some illnesses and injuries require an in-person medical consultation for diagnosis and treatment, others can be effectively evaluated remotely using telemedicine services. At Ouch Urgent Care, online doctor visits are available 7 days a week between 8:00am and midnight. You can schedule your virtual consultation using our convenient online service.
OUCH Urgent Care takes pride in providing quick and convenient care. Our average wait time is usually 20 minutes or less. We also offer the option to reserve your spot online so you can arrive just in time for your appointment without having to wait too long.
No, a test is not required to be seen. If you’re not feeling well and would like a coronavirus test, Ouch Urgent Care is here to help. We can evaluate your symptoms for COVID-19 during a virtual visit with one of our medical professionals. The medical professional may provide you with a medical authorization for a coronavirus test that you can take to a nearby diagnostic testing facility. We also offer rapid COVID-19 testing that can detect an active infection within minutes. Otherwise a Covid test is not required.
